Utility sheds are built at the Clark County Skills Center as part of the Construction Technology Program. They are built with quality in mind.

Construction Materials

Size: 8’ wide x 10’ deep x 9’-4” tall with 6’- 4 ½” headroom from subfloor to

bottom of truss.

Floor: 2x6 floor joists with 3/4" plywood subfloor on two 4x4

pressure-treated skids.
Walls: 2x4 studs with 1/2" pre-primed T-1-11 siding.
Trusses: 2x4 trusses with vertical web and gussets.
Roof: 1/2" OSB sheeting with 15# felt and 3-tab comp. shingles.
Trim: 1x6 and 1x4 clear cedar trim boards.
Door: Single wide 4' door in 8' end.

· Sheds can be picked up and set up by you. They come in a “kit” form to be broken down and loaded onto your trailer. I need some advance notice if you wish to take advantage of this process. In this form, the shed do not have the roofing shingles and the cost is only $900.00. Quantities are limited.

· We can deliver, set up, and install a composition roof. Deliver dates are to be scheduled first come, first serve (once shed is paid for). Deliver during summer session only (June 23 thru July 14). Must be reasonable diving distance and safe area for students to work. The cost is $1350.00.
